Colour Shift

Ingredients

1oz Empress Gin from Victoria Distillery

4 Drops Yuzu Bitters from Miracle Mile Bitters Co.

1/2oz Lilac Simple Syrup

1 Barspoon Creme de Lavande from Arbutus Distillery

1oz Soda Water

A Squeeze of Lemon Juice

Method

Add everything to a shaker with ice except the soda water and lemon juice if you want to show off the colour changing effects of the gin. Stir the contents of the tin until well chilled and strain into your glass of choice. Serve the soda water and lemon juice on the side in something with a spout, a sidecar if you have it. Garnish with a few lilac flowers.

If you are not concerned with showing off the colour shift then add everything into a tin with ice except the soda water and stir until well chilled. Strain into your glass and top with the soda water, garnish with lilac flowers.
