Lionsmane Jellyfish
Ingredients
1oz Okanagan Spirits Family Reserve Gin
1/2oz Grand Marnier
1/2oz Dragon Fruit Syrup
1/2oz Lime Juice
3 Drops Latin Lime Bitters from Apothecary Bitters
5 Drops Ms.Betters Bitter’s Pineapple and Star Anise Bitters
3oz Watermelon Soda Water
Method
Add all ingredients into your serving glass of choice except the soda water and stir together, add in some crushed ice. Top with watermelon soda water and garnish with a wheel of lime and slice of dragon fruit.
Dragon Fruit Syrup
Ingredients
1 Whole Dragon Fruit
1 Cup White Sugar
2 Cups Water
Method
Roughly cut up the whole dragon fruit including the skin and place in a pot with the sugar and water. Heat on high until the water is boiling and sugar is dissolved, move the pot off of the heat and let steep for at least one hour. At this point of you would like more colour you can blend the mixture in a blender for a second until the dragon fruit is a chunky mixture and then strain into a clean glass jar. Or you could skip that step and just strain directly into the jar without blending it.
