A Vampire’s Delight
Ingredients
1oz Honey Moon Gin from Legend
1oz Aperol
2oz Cucumber Juice
1 oz Blood Orange Simple Syrup
1/4oz Lemon Juice
1 Tsp Beetroot Powder (optional just for colour and a slight earthiness)
3oz Tangarine Soda Water from President’s Choice
Method
For the cucumber juice, I grate a whole cucumber and strain it through a coffee filter or fine strainer. Keep the cucumber flesh to make tzatziki or muffins. Add everything to a shaker tin except the soda water and stir, if you use the beetroot powder make sure it is well incorporated before straining into your glass of choice and topping with the soda water. Garnish with either a pumpkin ice cube or a twist of orange.
