Ponyo

I wanted to remake the hot milk and honey drink from Ponyo one of my favorite Hayao Miyazaki films, it always looked so lovely and I wanted to try it for myself.

Ingredients

2 1/2oz Hot Milk (If you have a steamer this is the perfect time to use it)

1 1/2oz Black Bear Spiced Rum from DeVine

1oz Honey Foam

Pinch of Cinnamon

Method

Steam your milk mixed with the cinnamon until it is very hot and frothy, add rum to a teacup or mug and pour the hot milk over it. Scoop out your honey foam and rest it on top of the hot milk and rum, make sure to scrape out all the milk foam too! Serve with a teaspoon to gently stir the foam into the hot milk. Enjoy after coming in from a storm!
